Claudia Peña-Martinez graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2003. This will be her 10th year as an arts educator and her 7th year teaching art at Jackson Middle School. Mrs. Peña-Martinez has been happily married for 11 years to her best friend, Ted Martinez. The Martinez' are proud parents of a 3-year-old toddler and fur baby parents to Autumn, a 9-year-old Pit Bull.
In her spare time, Mrs. Peña-Martinez works as a volunteer and art educator for Spare Parts, whose mission is to advance reuse education through the arts.
