Celebrate the creative spirit with art, food, music, and more!

Chalk It Up is a free, family-friendly creative event sponsored by Art Pace. San Antonio's premier artists transform city sidewalks into colorful works of art.

SASIC needs your help to complete a super-sized street mural. Sign up to represent our school today!

Students and Teachers who would like to participate in this event, please sign up with Mrs.Martinez.

This annual community event is an opportunity for locals and tourists alike to appreciate and participate in our city's creative resources.

Date: Saturday, October 8, 2011

  2. Oh wow, this sounds really fun, but seems like it'd be annoying with as many people there might be.

  7. we should do this on the blacktop in the back of the school and make it look really awesome. we could all contribute, and no longer will our artwork be limited to the space on our paper but to the extent of our imagination!! -Richard Belmares

  10. This article reminds me of the time I was at my late grandmothers house. She had a beard and liked to dye it. Each Hanukkah we would braid her beard. As we were braiding it we would find presents. Its so funny how many presents she could hide in her beard. Thanks Ms. Martinez for being my favorite teacher and reminding me of my grandmother. I miss her a lot.
