About two and a half weeks ago, I started the construction on the helmet for my husband's costume using a roman helmet, cheap dollar store mask, cardboard, masking tape, newspaper, and a bag of bones.

Toasted Marshmallow Paint (Apple Barrel Brand) from Wal-Mart:

Studio Creations made their armor out of hard plastic. I decided on a cheaper route and made the armor out of cardboard and paper maché.

Chain: Plastic "Pimp Chain" purchased from the Spirit Store to resemble the chain Evil Ash wore to hold his cape spray painted to match armor.
Forearm Armor: Kids Star Wars Costume Piece we found at Dollar Tree, spray painted to match armor.
Rib Cage Armor: Latex Skeleton Wings purchase from the Spirit Halloween Store.
We cut a section of the wings off and spray painted them.
Shirt: Target sales rack
Pants: Purchased at the Flea Market ($ 5.00)
The costume was finished only hours before I drove my husband to Creeping Beauty to get his special fx make-up done. Here is the result:
